“5 months ago I signed my son Andre up for martial arts class with Martial Arts Principles. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made. Before starting with martial arts classes, my son had boundless energy that wasn't as focused as it should be. With Sensei Paul and all the other wonderful instructors that work at Martial Arts Principles, Andre has the same amount of energy, but he is becoming more focused, confident and respectful. Sensei Paul and the other instructors are knowledgeable, caring, fun, and very patient. They teach not just martial arts but valuable life skills to students in a way that is fun and easy to understand. My son has so much fun, that I didn't want to miss out, I joined the fitness kickboxing classes that are available too.” -Tina Villeneuve M.Ed. (Special Education Teacher Keene High School) "Jeremy is 5 and he had just learned about responsibility at Martial Arts Principles the week before. The lessons he has learned have really sunk in both at school and at home. I only wish we had gotten him involved sooner." - Proud Dad, Brian Lenox, Security at Vermont Yankee "Thought I would pass this on to you, Nick received straight A's on his report card (4 A+ and 4 A's) we are very proud of him! I am so happy that I found Martial Arts Principles for Levi, and well for myself too.
Levi has really thrived in the environment not only learning an amazing
set of physical skills, but some of the most important life lessons as
well. His pre-school teacher stopped me the other day to share this; One of the boys in Levi's class was picking on Levi and some fellow students in the usual four year old fashion the "I am smarter, better, faster than you are". Levi waited until he was finished his rant, stood up to him and said "that is not modesty, and modesty makes you smart!" and then proceeded to walk away. His teacher was amazed. She asked him where he learned what modesty even was, to which he replied "at my karate school, we learn all sorts of cool things there". I wish everyone could get a little touch of these lessons in their lives. It would be a nicer place to live, for sure! Wendi Bedard
Everyone is very nice and helpful. The classes are challenging and fun at the same time. Seeing how much my children love it and that they both have increased confidence when it comes to trying new challenges. I also have more confidence when trying new physical challenges and that it's okay to push my body past the "comfort zone" when working out. The best benefits for me are increased stamina and the knowledge and techniques to escape in the event of an attack or assault. Nicole Belval
"The four of us have been here for over three years. I watched my daughter during her first advanced class and was worried it would be too much for her. We use the thumbs up or down to express how we like or dislike a situation.I really saw her challenged and thought this could be her last class. I tentatively gave her the thumbs up, she was red faced, sweaty and exhausted. She looked at her thumb, then the other thumb and smiled and said" I don't have enough thumbs for how great that was." Martial Arts Principles, Inc. is the BEST! Both kids and adults not
only learn realistic ways to defend themselves should the need ever
arise, but also life skills & values that will help them be the best person they can be in all aspects of their lives. "

"I appreciate the way students are treated by all of the instructors they are very patient and respectful; I also enjoy the general atmosphere and camaraderie of the students and parents."
